Some may have struggled to find clarity, while others received their calling with certainty and strength. But in every story, one thing remains constant—God's faithful guidance, His persistent call, and His empowering grace.

It was designed to celebrate and share the powerful stories of women who have embraced their calling to Christian ministry. This book will highlight the diversity of experiences, challenges, triumphs, and moments of revelation that come with answering God’s call to serve.

We are seeking submissions from women across denominations, backgrounds, and regions who have felt the call to ministry and have chosen to walk in obedience. Whether you are just beginning your journey or have been serving faithfully for years, your story has the potential to inspire others to step into their calling with boldness and faith.

In 2017 Telishia decided to add book publishing as an extension of Courageous Woman Magazine under Strive International Publishing. She has published numerous authors, including gospel music legend Spencer Taylor Jr’s, A Legend Becomes a General: The GodFather of Quartet Music. She has published hundreds of stories that have helped over 200 women become bestselling authors.
Future Endeavors
In addition to writing and producing movies, Telishia is excited about returning to where it all began, the theater. She spent many years acting on stage then went on to write, produce, and direct award-winning musical stage plays. She was recently cast in an upcoming movie and looking forward to performing again.

She is the recipient of numerous awards, including an honorary doctorate (TIUA), a Lifetime Achievement Award from President Biden and Vice-President Kamala Harris, a Humanitarian Award, WIP Award (Women in Power), Phenomenal Woman Award, Resolution Award, Publishing Excellence Award, Best Media Platform Award, and Just For Her Magazine Award for Women in the Arts. She is the mother of four adults: Kendre’ Berry, a film and TV actor, most known for his role as Jabari on the TV sitcom, Girlfriends; Tisha, a filmmaker and official photographer for music artist Ciara; Toi, a fashion model who has worked for numerous fashion companies; and daughter Kennedy, a hair and makeup stylist. She is proud to be called “Granny” by her grandson Ezra.
